Sunshine Dangers

Once in a while I come across a story that makes me wonder why any of us bother to get out of bed in the morning. This is from yesterday’s i paper:

A school’s annual beach day was cancelled and concerns about the dangers of sunshine.

Yes, readers, that health giving light from the thing in the sky is now deemed to be dangerous for children.

The trip for 200 pupils at St George’s Prep School in Jersey was scrapped after warnings about skin cancer. Headmaster Colin Moore said the school would hold “a less exposed alternative event.”

Perhaps they could have a trip in a cave. Or a coal mine if they have them on Jersey.

Colin, you’re in the wrong job.

Roy Ayres knows more than you.
