Sea Lion Dining

This is so sweet, from last week’s i newspaper:

A starving sea lion has been rescued after finding its way into a fancy Californian restaurant.

Experts at Sea World were called to The Marine Room, an ocean front restaurant in La Jolla, San Diego. Rescuers found an eight month old female pup asleep in a dining booth. It was severely underweight and dehydrated.

The pup was taken to SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue centre and experts are cautiously optimistic about her recovery.

This is a great story, but leaves me with so many questions. How did the pup get into the restaurant without being seen? How did it get there without being run over? Were any other diners in a similar state?
